This is an especially valuable tool for finding angles easily, and masonry work. Perhaps the best toolbox torpedo level on market. The angle finder is good for a 'ballpark' check. Painted white with red highlights where the glass leveling vials are located make is easy to see at a distance.

A smart level. Excellent product. The body is cast aluminum and the bottom machined for accuracy. It has wide impact resistant end caps for protection.

Rubber bumpers are nice, but this level is a bit bulky for torpedo. This level is built to last a lifetime. High contrast vial is 8x more visible than traditional vials. The rotating dial does not match especially close to the needle indicator point appears be off by a couple of degrees in addition, it seems bit spongy, so doesn't hold its position very well.

The other important features are the magnetic base and it very solid rugged construction. Magnetic base is very strong, so if its being used on steel it will stay in place well. For me, this Kapro level might get used for some jobs, but it won't be the first one I grab. They have also put a rubber shock absorbed on the ends, which after dropping it couple of times was nice to help cushion fall and prevent damage. The white painted surface color along with red angle finders seems to make the vials easier read. It fared well and maintained calibration.

Cool looking junk. This Kapro torpedo level has some nice features, but not all that great. This is a great small level and very handy. The first thing I noticed was the red bubble which makes very easy to see in virtually any light conditions is most important use of a level.
